The hotrod ‘62 has a larger neck radius, larger neck profile, larger frets, stock 5 way switch, reverse wound middle pickup and I think that’s about all that’s different. You should check Fender’s website.

ibanez has the smallest necks, RG models with wizard necks are tiny tiny. fenders and gibsons tend to have fatty necks, fender can throw you off however because they have many different neck models, most of the vintage or reissue guitars will have deep necks.

Yes. The tone of these vintage pickups are great, along with the reverse-phase middle pickup. But be sure you like the larger neck profile -some people find them too chunky.
