it depends which SG u get if its the G-400 or better it stays in tune pretty good. If its the cheaper ones im not really sure about those.
I put my epi SG …
I put my epi SG away for about 6 months, and by “away”, I mean I left it in a room that varied in temperature on a guitar stand. Upon picking it back up, it hadn’t dropped tune much at all. Everytime I play, I check it every 15 or so minutes and the only time there’s signifigant change is when I mistakingly bump the machine heads. I have Grover machine heads on mine, have been told it makes a difference.

i have a question. …
i have a question. i have an EMG 85 and i’m really interested in buying the EMG PA-2 booster knob. i want to use the booster knob purely for boosting the Db, and not to boost the gain, so if i want cleaner output, i have to rise the battery voltage (for example 18V). what will be the effect on the EMG 85?? in product data sheet it says that max voltage can be 27V but i don’t know the effec on the sound/output/gain. so if anyone knows please tell me? =) thanks

Epiphone is a …
Epiphone is a branch of Gibson, the Epiphone SG is pretty much just an SG body with some differing parts, which result in slightly different guitar tones. I prefer my Epiphone SG to a Gibson SG i owned a while back, but everyones opinion is different. Instead of paying upwards of 1500$ (AUS)for a Gibson, you can pick up an epiphone sg for around $500. Hope that helped

(well, i did have some with a souldering iron. check my buckethead cover vid for the sound.) im sure you could install one no problem at all. if you look at the way the guitar is already set up then just replace what is needed. hope this helps
