Video of a cute countertop washing machine I picked up off eBay a while back. It showed up in my "suggested auctions" window in MyEbay, and I figured it would be great for doing my loads of shop rags after polishing a vacuum or waxing the car.

I wouldn’t think it …
I wouldn’t think it would be too difficult. The drive lug for the agitator is just a simple hex lug. I don’t think it would be too difficult to machine something, but I’m too lazy to do it!

Very cool, a newer version of the round HandyHot/Kenmore/Electro Mite/etc. tabletops from the early-50’s. I see these on eBay all the time but haven’t picked one up yet since I have a couple of tabletops already. A real “forbidden cycle” for sure, I wonder how hard it would be to make an extension from the motor shaft to the agitator to facilitate viewing, hmmmm.
And I know what you …
And I know what you mean about “hill top water”, in my first and second houses (2 doors apart), having a shower in the morning or during the day was impossible, especially after the water company did some work on the lines, then the pressure really dropped to ridiculous levels!!! :S
I always thought about getting an automatic shower pump to suck the water out of the mains pipes, but I think I’d probably cut everyone else’s water then…

Cool, I have a “Portawash” portable mini-Twintub myself, I love it, well, that is until it fell off the worktop while spinning a load and put a hole in the top of the washtub, but small loads (socks, underwear, facecloths etc)still do well in it…
I love little washing machines, they do have better uses when compared to big washing machines, and if used carefully (like re-using the soapy water) they can actually be more water efficient…
Nice! Very nice …
Nice! Very nice concept with a small washer for those people who dont have a whole lot of space. Love the idea.
Thanks! It works …
Thanks! It works so much better than I ever expected! I washed my weekly laundry in it today and had to change the wash water 3 times because it got so filthy! Truly a surprise. Interestingly, with clean water, I think it washed my whites better than the modern front-loader does. Hmmmmm…..
That’s awesome!

yeah… 1st comment!!! that’s pretty cool… i kinda want one now (you made me jealous), that would be a quick way to wash a little load without using a big washer (like just your socks or underware or whatever…)
