Ive heard bad things about these guitars so far, and this is gonna be the last thing i get on this holiday, since ill be 18 soon after Christmas day (i know, im prob too old for this guitar even, lol).. Anyway, I have two questions, is this guitar still ok for a starter, dispite it not being the best cheapo guitar..? Also, is this guitar even able to play with a vintage sound, because im very old school with my rock.. That's all. Thank you all for your time.

Well, It's true that First Act isn't a good brand. I have an acoustic. People are shocked because it doesn't sound bad, but it's not that great of quality. Since your 18, I'm not saying go all out (because you may be on a buget or something) but there are other good brands out there you can buy. Epiphone, Ibanez and Squier by Fender have nice guitars that aren't that much and sound great. You can go 2 www.musiciansfriend.com and search their site for guitars. They have great reviews and you can sort them by brand and price also. You don't have to buy from there, but just browse without going to the store and find out what you want and go from there (like call you local music store to see if they have it). Also, if you do buy from an actual store you may want to test the guitar to see if it's comfortable and fits your style. Good luck and Happy Holidays♥
