Another incredible guitar from SX at an impossible price. It can be so cheap and sound (and show) like this one. In video is not clear how good this guitar seem and how bright and deep wood resonate in acoustic sounds. This test is with stock pickups (i'll change soon) that anyway are not so bad, even if they're so damned icepicking - for this i used a darker amp, a simulated Marshall Lead 100 on the Pod XT Live trough USB direct recording.

Shane Adkins (www.shaneadkins.com) plays "Free Bird" on a CB Vintage J guitar. Top wood is Adirondack "Red" Spruce, back & sides are East Indian Rosewood. For more information, please see http www.cbguitars.com

Vintage V6 Icon – Sound test and demo

The Vintage V6 Icon, what a great guitar! It has a crisp, twangy sound but you can dial in warm tones with the aid of the two tone controls. I tried all the pickup positions with a simple arpeggio, and then I improvised on a nice jam track found online; sorry for my sloppy playing, I'm not a bluesman, I really wish I were one... :( Vintage V6 Icon Woodstock White - poplar body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium frets, three Wilkinson single-coils, vintage Wilkinson bridge, locking tuners. All the sounds recorded with Guitar Rig 4 Essential.

The proper way to restring a guitar by Bill Baker

Guitar Tech Bill Baker of NJ teaches you his way to restring an electric and acoustic guitar along with tips to clean, lube, and check over your guitar so you can get the best from it. Bill has done work for BLUE CHEER, Ace Frehley of KISS, The MISFITS, Richie Ranno of STARZ, Leslie West, The NERDS, and many more to name his top clients and friends. That's "BIG BENDS Nut Sauce" I'm using as a lube, and it's the best I've found. More on that product in the next video coming soon on restringing vintage Fender guitars and basses! While there are many ways to restring and stay in tune, this is what has been working for me and my customers in the past 20+ years I've been working on them and playing. Thanks for looking!!!
