This is a 1963 fender strat 100% original except body only refin by fender in late 60's. Played straight into a Fender blues deluxe amp with JJ tubes. My friend Bob is playing, enjoy.

will this fit on my red squier strat? it is in a import 1 with the big route underneath, but it is fender squier, will this fit?

A Squire strat is a cheap version of the real strat. Your plan sounds good, but I'd check with Fender and Squire before buying it.
