Vintage Fender Sound sought?

I purchased a used Super Reverb around 1971. I owned various other amps for different gigs but the Super was my pride and joy. the Super was stolen around 1986. I dont play much but would like to purchase a guitar amp around 50W-100W with a real good 12" speaker. I DONT want to spend much. I know there are all kinds of knock-offs of Vintage Fender, Mesa Boogie, etc. Be it new or ebay I want something HOT but cheap.... any legit recommendations?

I owned two Super Reberbs back around 76' and a Twin and duo showman.. Loved those amps.. How about one of the Fender Blues amps.. Not sure what they run these days.. under 400? Stick with what you like... I bought a Line 6 for my son, I've had every amp under the sun and still prefer the Fenders.. Twin is probably my fav. I'll have to read your post for other responses.. Good luck..

Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster Relic

www.ProGuitarShop.com - www.ProGuitarShop.com - Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Late 60s Stratocaster Relic - This Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Stratocaster was built by Yuriy Shiskov to late 60s strat specifications. This sweet axe features a 2 piece alder body finished with a thin skin nitro finish in 3 tone sunburst. The relic treatment gives this guitar the look and feel of an actual late 60s Stratocaster that has been played in smoky bars for the last 40 years. The body is worn in around the edges and even sports belt buckle scratches. The Mid 60s Oval C shaped neck features a Madagascar Rosewood fretboard with rolled edges on the frets and its fair share of checking and play wear from the Fender Custom Shop. The Master Builder also aged the hardware and kissed the metal with rust for an authentic tone, look, and feel. This Masterbuilt Strat is truly considered a work of art. The aging and playwear are authentic looking and feeling. The noiseless pickups were carefully aged by the Fender Custom Shop to deliver vintage tone and modern performance. There is nothing like a Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Stratocaster.

guitar identify help? ?

Hi,
I have a guitar that I cannot find anything on> I want to know the maker and possible year it was made.
It is electric, possibly vintage, it looks like a fender stratocaster, but there is no word fender on it anywhere, It has a plate on the back with serial # 099629. On the top of the neck, it says series 70 or series 7?
i have pictures, but cannot upload here. any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you,
B

Since strats are the most copied guitar shape in the world.. without a logo its going to be pretty hard to narrow down.

If you have the time. Try taking the neck off the guitar and seeing if there is any id in the neck pocket or on the neck.

The serial number is useless without the company its made by.

My new guitar!
