I am thinking about the fender vintage noiseless, but im not sure if ill be able to get a good distortion. I play a wide varity of stuff. Classic rock, a little metal, folk, and classical. So im looking 4 something that i can us 4 a lot of styles. And i have to have single coil(strat). What would be good?

I have a '08 american vintage strat, my 3rd guitar. I never got around to playing with the whammy bar, but now that ive gotten better I want to start using it. The whammy bar came with the guitar, so I just screwed the bar in. Is there a specific way you're supposed to put it in? Also, when I use the whammy bar is the tremolo supposed to bend slightly up from the guitar when I push down on the whammy bar?
