Unfortunately, I am forced to sell off part of a collection that I've been building for several years. I have a bunch of guitars (some antique) and a couple of drum sets and various other musical equipment to sell. Can anyone recommend a swap meet, flea market, or antique market in southern California? I would put them on e-bay, but need the money right away. Does anyone know of a place where there would be a market for these type of items? Thanks for your help.
I have an 1888 Lyon & Healey parlor guitar, an nice old Hofner Jazz guitar, a copy of the Gibson Dove(made by Lyle), a couple of Harmony and Silvertones, and an Epiphone "Traveling Wilburys" model. Also a really cool vintage Danelectro 12 string in purple sparkle that I'm not sure I'm ready to part with just yet and a few others that have been in my storage for awhile. I'm hanging on to a few of my favorites, but the rest have to go.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I just checked out the Rose Bowl website and I think I will give it a try this Sunday.
Wish me luck! Thanks again.

You should check out the flea market at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena....Hurry though - it's on this Sunday - hope it's not too late to reserve a spot!

What type of guitars are you trying to sell?

I'm looking to buy an electric guitar for the first time. However, this may seem a bit daft, but i'm not sure if i'm left handed or right handed using one. I know that i find it alot easier to fret with my left hand and in turn strum with my right of course, so what am i looking at - a left handed or right handed guitar?

Thanks
Question answered, thanks guys. =)

I had the same problem. You're a right-handed guitarrist.

test of a squier stratocaster 1984

i can' t resist to make you heard about the famous squier 1984 (série SQ ...).
This was my first strat, was eighteen and work hard in the vineyards for all autumn to pay it.
Some say it is now a sort of squier vintage and some could pay around 1000 Euros to have one (but this is business ...).
Whatever, it is all stock, except the refinish i 've done 5 years ago cause it was so worn (nowaday it is fashionnable to have a worn guitar i should have wait more but ...
I think PU are céramics (if somebody really have the information, please find out.), it is not great but i show you the sweet spot of the beast.

Larghetto Espressivo – Ferdinando Carulli

This is the first video with my "new" old guitar... this guitar was made in 1800 (more or less five years...) by a luthier probably from Mirecourt, but the mark says Rémy, Limoges. (maker or seller ?) This guitar was restaured by Erik-Pierre Hofmann. See his website :
